Get out of your comfort zone and innovate

Updated: Mar 29, 2022

Let's step out of our comfort zone and experiment a little.

Have you thought about your daily routines? They are a good choice to start innovating.

Have you experienced doing something in a certain way for a long time, and somewhen being forced to do it in a different way? Then realising that the new way is much better, and wondering why you haven't tried that earlier?

Yes, we all have a bunch of routines that create a comfort zone for us. Some of these routines are helpful, and some might have been good at the beginning but now they're obsolete.

Let's check this out and see what can we reinvent that serves us better!

It can be anything. For example, the very first thing you do in the morning when you wake up. Or how you respond to emails / messages, just right away or in certain slots. How you get to work, how you prioritise your day, how you finish your day, etc.

Just go over what you consider to be your established routines, and ask yourself: "is this still the best way for me to do this or could I try something new?"

Probably the first reaction will be: "yes, this still works, let's not change it".

But perhaps with one or two of your routines you could experiment a new way of doing it.

This can be creative, energising, and can make you feel better, since you know that you can shift from your comfort zone to a learn and growth zone.

Training yourself to get out of your comfort zone with these routines or small experiments, increases your confidence, and prepares you better for change and challenges.

Give it a try & let me know how it works!
